Sedge is a project management tool for music producers and artists that streamlines their music production workflow and allows them to collaborate effectively. While the big picture of Sedge is to become the Slack/Asana of the music production world, the initial product will target the revision and review process and how to make it more hassle-free.
While Splice does offer a solution for producers to share edits with one another, it is highly technical and sophisticated as it mainly focuses on producer-producer collaboration instead of the more general producer-artist dynamic.
In other words, Splice is to music producers what Github is to programmers, while Sedge aims to bridge the gap between producers and artists the same way Slack and Asana did with programmers and designers.
We are aiming for a Spring 2020 release - sign up here to be notified when Sedge is ready for beta testing.
Sedge Premium catered towards indie/professional producers, while Sedge Education is more for music production schools and academies where students constantly exchange feedback with their instructors on a daily/weekly basis. In the Sedge Education plan, instructors also have their own custom dashboard where they can get a high level overview of the progress of each one of their students and get notified whenever any of their students asks for their feedback.
We have a 30-day "no questions asked" return policy - meaning that if you are unsatisfied with Sedge after 30 days of using it, just shoot us an email and we will refund your purchase ASAP.
